What we do...

We believe that the church is more than a building or a gathering on a Sunday morning! We try to live our faith out actively in the course of our day to day lives so there's always something going on individually.

We're trying to 'be' the church - the people of God in the community, loving and serving the people of Stonehouse and the local area.

Advent group

Thursday afternoons at 2pm, on 27th November, 4th, 11th and 18th December @SBC.

The four Thursday themes are as follows:

How Jesus’ birth fulfilled the wonderful plan found in the Old Testament promises of a rescue to come

How the incarnation is wonderful news amidst the brokenness of this world

How you’re invited to join in God’s wonderful work

How we’re called to bring that spark of small wonder into all of life

These are from a resource entitled 'Small Wonder', produced by the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. It's accompanied by a 25-day series of devotional readings, which you can read through December if you wish. You can find them on the LICC website (Small Wonder – A Christmas Devotional Journey | LICC) and organise to have them sent directly to your smartphone or email inbox, if you have them.

If you have any questions, please send us a message and we will come back to you - Please email to find out more.
